We took our first trip to Utah with the kids last month. We drove up in the suburban with both the dogs and the kids and all our stuff. We had a full load. We left on a Friday and drove to St George where my Grandparents live. We stayed with them till Sunday morning. It was fun to see Grandma and Grandpa. My aunt was also there with her kids. They loved playing with the babies. They got spoiled with attention. Then on Sunday morning we made the rest of the drive to Salt lake city. We stayed with with Ryan's brother and his family. The kids did surprisingly well with the drive and still slept pretty well even though we were out of their regular environment. We had activities with families and friends almost everyday. We carted them all over the valley and they were troopers. We took some fun pictures.

We went to the Clark Planetarium with the family and the kids loved it.
There was a display that looked like the moon. We took pictures of us and the kids on the moon.
I love this picture of Caden. There was a huge exhibit of mazes and pendulums and balls. Caden was in a enthralled watching the balls roll through the maze. The planetarium was a hit!
We had a family picnic at Sugarhouse park. The kids played on the swings and loved the grass. Grass is so nice in Utah.

Last but not least, Jackson's huge goose egg. He pulled a stool on top of himself. Can't miss it right in the middle of his forehead!
We had a great trip! We are planing to do it every year so the kids can see their family.

yeah an Update!! I check her weekly to find one and was so happy to see on there. I was thinking about you this week and wanted to call you to see if we could get the babies together to play sometime soon. Then Lindy fell asleep and there went that plan. But serious, we are usually home and Lindy's awake M-Th 12:30-2. Let me know what day works for you! I wanna play!
PS I forgot to say that your trip looked so fun! You're kids are such troopers! Poor widdle Jackson and his goose egg! WOW!
Halle has some cute chubs! I am so glad you had a fun trip and that the kids were angels! You look wonderful.

Totally worth all the work of preparing and the stress of travel, isn't it? DH and I always agree that it's worth it to see the kiddos with their cousins and family....

It's just me agnes! The kids are getting so big! AND they are absolutley adorable! I bet you had a blast in Utah.It's always nice to get away. I saw that an Elder you knew was serving in Brazil. My Brother served in Brazil (differnt mission) but Brazil. I know my brother loved it, I bet he does too! Hope your family is doing great!
